Magnolia "Alba Superba"


Old cultivar with large white tulip-shaped flowers, typical for soulangeana. Blooms later than most of soulangeana varieties. 
Flowers have a pleasant fragrance.

Botanical name: Magnolia x soulangeana "Alba Superba".
Parentage: Unknown. Probably an open-pollinated seedling.
Habit: large erect shrub.
Height: 4-7m.
Hardiness: USDA zone 5b.
Flowering time: April - May.
