Magnolia "Blushing Belle"


Selected by Dennis Ledvina (Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA). Vigorous tree. Bowl-shaped flowers similar to M. "Caerhays Belle", but much hardier. The deep pink exterior and lighter pink interior shows no traces of yellow. The tree bloomed after -29°C. No seed fertility. 

Botanical name: Magnolia x "Blushing Belle".
Parentage: Magnolia "Yellow Bird" x Magnolia "Caerhays Belle".
Habit: upright tree.
Height: 7-9m.
Hardiness: USDA zone 5a.
Flowering time: April - May.
