Magnolia "Satisfaction"




First imported in Europe in 2002 from China. Extremely compact, very floriferous magnolia. Ideal for small gardens. 
Flowers are firm, tulip-shaped, reddish-pink outside, rose-white inside.

Botanical name: Magnolia x "Satisfaction".
Parentage: unknown (just as most of Chinese cultivars). Most probably, it is a soulangeana cultivar.
Habit: very compact (almost columnar) bush
Height: 2-3m.
Hardiness: USDA zone 6a and warmer parts of zone 5b.
Flowering time: April - May.
