Magnolia "Manchu Fan"

A Gresham hybrid producing fragrant, goblet-shaped, beautifully sculptured white flowers (smaller than other Greshams). The petals look like fragile china; hence the name. Blooms late in the season.

Botanical name: Magnolia x "Manchu Fan".
Parentage: (M. x soulangeana "Lennei Alba") x (M. x veitchii "Peter Veitch").
Habit: small tree or large shrub.
Height: 5-6m.
HardinessUSDA zone 6a.
Flowering time: April - May.
