Selected by Ian Baldick (Drury, South Auckland, New Zealand). "Cup and saucer" shaped flowers are 20-30 cm in diameter, less ruby, more red (especially in milder climates). Quite hardy, floriferous, blooming late in season.

Habit: upright tree.
Height: 5-7m.
