Magnolia "First Love"


A hardy magnolia with purple flowers. It resembles M. liliiflora. Bred and selected by Dennis Ledvina (Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA)

Botanical name: Magnolia x  "First Love".
Parentage: M.liliiflora x M."Woodsman".
Habit: large shrub.
Height: 3-4m.
Hardiness: USDA zone 5a.
Flowering time: April - May.
