Magnolia "Ivory Jewel"


Another good cultivar for colder climates. Quite vigorous tree with a narrower growth habit producing large flowers with nine wide tepals, creamy yellow interior and a blush pink exterior. Blooms before the leaves.
Bred and selected by Dennis Ledvina (Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA). 

Botanical name: Magnolia x "Ivory Jewel".
Parentage: M."Woodsman" x M."Big Dude".
Habit: upright tree.
Height: 5-6m.
Hardiness: USDA zone 5a.
Flowering time: April - May.
