Magnolia "David Clulow"

Large "cup and saucer" shaped, campbellii-like‘flowers to 23-25cm across for temperate climates where Magnolia campbellii would not survive. One of the best white Gresham hybrids. Blooms in the middle of the season.
Hybridized by Todd Gresham in Morris Arboretum (Chestnut Hill, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA).

Botanical name: Magnolia x "David Clulow".
Other names: "Gresham LA20".
Parentage: (M. x soulangeana "Lennei Alba") x (M. x veitchii).
Habit: broadly conical tree.
Height: 6-7m.
Hardiness: USDA zone 6b and warmer parts of USDA zone 6a.
Flowering time: April.
