Magnolia "Early Rose"

"Early Rose" is a sister seedling of popular magnolia "Star Wars". It produces very large rose pink flowers, white inside, "cup and saucer" shaped. Flowers from a young age.
Selected by Oz Blumhardt  (New Zealand), 1970.

Botanical name: Magnolia x "Early Rose".
Parentage: M. campbellii x M. liliiflora
Habit: upright tree, often multistemmed.
Height: 5-7m.
Hardiness: USDA zone 7a.
Flowering time: March - April.
