Magnolia "Sunset Swirl"


Very hardy magnolia with gorgeous pink flowers that are similar in color to "Daybreak". The advantage of this hybrid is its excellent flower form which matures to a flat, pinwheel form, rather than a floppy form. A beauty for colder climates!
Bred and selected by Dennis Ledvina (Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA).

Botanical name: Magnolia x "Sunset Swirl".
Parentage: M."Pink Royalty" x M."Daybreak".
Habit: rounded tree.
Height: 4-5m.
Hardiness: USDA zone 4a.
Flowering time: April - May.
