One of the hardiest cultivars of Magnolia grandiflora, able to withstand at least -24°C without significant leaf burn. Compact evergreen tree producing creamy white flowers, opening out to a champagne glass shape up to 25-28cm across.
Botanical name: Magnolia grandiflora "Victoria".
Parentage: originated from an exceptionally hardy tree that grew in Vancouver (British Columbia, Canada).
Habit: compact tree.
Height: 5-8m.
Hardiness: USDA zone 7a and warmer parts of zone 6b.
Flowering time: June - August.
