Magnolia "Pink Charm"


A hardy hybrid, sister seedling of "Rose Marie" with similar pink color but with a more lily formed flower. Flowers are produced over a month in late spring. The tree appears to be more fastigate than "Rose Marie". Suitable for small gardens.
Selected by Dennis Ledvina (Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA).

Botanical name: Magnolia x "Pink Charm".
Parentage: M."Pink Surprise" x M."Daybreak".
Habit: columnar tree.
Height: 6-8m.
Hardiness: USDA zone 5a.
Flowering time: April - May.
